Sub Sea Systems has built the world’s first underwater oxygen bar, Clear Lounge. Guests can dip into a 13,000 gallon, high-tech, freestanding aquarium while breathing in enriched oxygen. Guests are equipped with a specialized clear diving helmet designed for non-swimmers and receive an airflow of invigorating oxygen mixed with an aromatherapy scent of his or her choice. While immersed in the tank, a bartender entertains the guest during their 20 minute sessions with activities including target practice with high-powered bubble guns and jenga. The Clear Lounge is also equipped with an underwater photo booth.

“We’re excited to introduce such an innovative underwater attraction,” said Jim Mayfield, Sub Sea System’s president. “We see experiences as one of the hottest trends in entertainment. Clear Lounge is truly a unique social novelty. It’s incredibly fun, memorable, and an activity guests are excited to share and talk about.”

The first Clear Lounge is located in Puerta Maya in Cozumel, Mexico at Carnival Corporation’s busiest transit, corporate-operated port. The experience is open to everyone ages 8 and up and start at $38 USD. Space is limited and though walk-up bookings are accepted, you’re encouraged to make a reservation online at bookeo.com/clearloungecozumel. Find out more information about Clear Lounge by visiting its website clear-lounge.com. You can follow Clear Lounge on Twitter @Clear_Lounge.
