Snoop Dogg’s next release may not be a new single or an album bit it’s sure to have tongues wagging. 19 Crimes, a wine company based in Australia that celebrates the rebellious spirit of the more than 160,000 exiled British criminals that founded Australia, is teaming up with Snoop Dogg for his own branded wine collection.
19 Crimes is the first winery that used augmented reality to bring their labels to life, a marketing move that has gained them attention and helped shake up the traditional wine industry. The company has announced a multi-year partnership with Snoop Dogg and the first release from this new team up, a California wine named Snoop Cali Red. This new release will be in stores beginning summer 2020. This new release will bring a modern twist to 19 Crimes’ wine collection, which were inspired by the convicts turned colonists that built Australia.
In a press release, Snoop Dogg commented, “I’ve been a fan of this wine and I’m excited to unveil my Snoop Cali Red this summer and share the experience with all my fans. It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!”
John Wardley, TWE marketing vice president, Americas, added, “Snoop Dogg, an entertainment and California icon, is the perfect partner for 19 Crimes Snoop Cali Red. Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes – rule breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity. We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family.”
