Protocol Cigars is announcing the second release in its Protocol John Doe Series, the John Doe 2.0. ‘John Doe’ is the name given to unidentified males until identification can be made at a later time.
For Protocol’s John Doe 2.0, the only information available is its “place of birth,” which the company has revealed as being Espinosa’s La Zona Cigar Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. This installment in the series is a true limited release with only 225 bundles in a 5 x 52 vitola being released. Each cigar will have an unidentifiable plain white cigar band on it. John Doe 2.0 is slated for a one time release with no plans for a another release.
Protocol Cigars will release John Doe 2.0 through Omerta Cigar Co., located at 7700 S. Western Ave. Suite B, Oklahoma City, OK 73139 and through its online store, purocigarhouse.com. John Doe 2.0 will be released on July 11, 2020. There will be an in store event and online push for the product. Bundles and single stick sales will be available to the public on a first come, first serve basis.
