It’s an understatement to say that being at ProCigar makes you ridiculously tired, but it’s a good tired from experiencing full days. Today I went on the De Los Reyes Cigars tour, makers of such fine cigars as SAGA, Debonaire, and Patoro. We started with a tour of their fields and curing barns led by Nirka Reyes, and then went for an absolutely delicious lunch at their restaurant, also called SAGA. We finished it out with a tour of their impeccable factory where all the employees were smiling. It truly is a testament to those who run the factory.

The night was capped with the opening night dinner. As always, it’s a treat. Apologies for the shorter recap tonight but I’m beat and looking forward to sleep. So here are some photos of the day, and, like the other day’s recaps, they are unedited and raw. Until tomorrow!

Learned a fun fact today during the de los Reyes tour: Corn is planted around tobacco leaves so that bugs will go after the corn rather than the tobacco thus negating the needs for pesticides. It doesn’t get more natural than that.
