Plasencia Cigars’ next release is taking shape. The company has announced the upcoming release of the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon – Colorado Claro, a cigar that features tobaccos aged for 10 years rolled into a unique and innovative Hexagon shape.
The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon – Colorado Claro features a slightly different binder and filler from its predecessor, the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II Hexagon. The cigar’s Colorado Claro wrapper was aged for 10 years, resulting in a smoother smoking experience overall. The company explains that those partaking in this cigar can expect notes of cocoa and almonds that transitions into a hint of nutmeg and cedar in its final notes.
“When we created the hexagon shaped vitola, we did it with the intent to push the boundaries of cigar making. The Colorado Claro wrapper adds a different dimension to this already unique cigar. We proudly look forward to exposing the public to the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon,” explains Nestor Andres Plasencia, CEO of Plasencia Cigars.
This cigar’s unique shape imitates a honeycomb, which allows for a more complex smoking experience due to the pressing. Since it was introduced with the release of the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II Hexagon, the hexagon shape has become Plasencia’s top-selling cigar and inspired the Plasencia family to extend the line with this new release. The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon – Colorado Claro will be presented as a 6 x 60 Ama Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon and will be available in 10-count boxes at $21 per cigar.
