We at Cigars & Leisure love rum. Well, we love all spirits, but rum in particular is a favorite so today is a big day for us. We’ll be getting into the spirit of the holiday and you should, too! Here is a new recipe to try out and some links to our other rum features. Also! Coming this winter, we’ll be dedicating a large section of the magazine to the history of rum as well as even more delicious recipes.

We love Ron Barceló rum. We’ve even reviewed it! But if you want the quick description the award-winning variant Barceló Gran Añejo (our favorite) it’s a luscious blend of rums, aged in American bourbon oak barrels, ranging in age up to 6 years.
The result is a rich, golden amber colored rum with notes of sweet spice, mocha, toffee and coffee bean; perfect for night outs, themed parties, gifting and celebrating National Rum Day.
