It’s July 19 which means National Daiquiri Day! Celebrate appropriately by making a daiquiri. If you don’t, you’re a grinch.
This recipe by Ron Barceló is called Summer Time Love and is positively delicious. All of us at the office decided we had to try it if we wanted to feature it and we liked it so much we made a second batch.
This cocktail is blended with Ron Barceló Platinum rum, coconut cream, raw granulated sugar, pineapple chunks, coconut flakes and strawberry.
Here’s the full recipe:
1 1/2 ounces Ron Barceló Platinum
1 1/2 ounces coconut cream
Barspoon raw granulated sugar
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1 large strawberry
1 large basil leaf
Blend approximately 1/2 cup ice with the rum, coconut cream, sugar, and pineapple.
Blend till smooth then serve in pilsner or hurricane glass.
Garnish with coconut flakes and strawberry. Enjoy!
