We’ve already posted our excitement about Nat Sherman’s 85th Anniversary Cigar and our excitement continues as Nat Sherman reveals details on its 85th Anniversary Pipes. Today the New York-based brand revealed details on four one-of-a-kind pipes made by Ardor in Varese, Italy, to commemorate the company’s 85th anniversary. These four pipes are named after the four addresses Nat Sherman’s flagship store has had since its founding in 1930.
Details of the Nat Sherman 85th Anniversary Pipes:
1400 Broadway: A classic finish covered in straight grain from bowl to shank. It’s a straight billiard representative of the style of pipes smoked int he late 1930s.
711 5th Avenue: A slightly curved Prince with a silver band connecting the shank to the stem. It exudes the minor flair that was popular back in the ‘70s and has a rich burgundy finish.
500 5th Avenue: Made in the most iconic shade of the post-war era, this straight Bulldog in a darkened root finish features a stunning straight grain on the bowl and has a beautiful bird’s eye grain around the shank.
12 East 42nd Street: Mid-sized Dublin, done with a perfect straight grain. Has a light root finish, elegant silver band and father-light weight.
These pipes have a retail price of $1,930 per model and are available only at the Nat Sherman Townhouse in New York City. For more information and details on this release and others from Nat Sherman, visit its website natsherman.com and follow on Twitter @Nat42nd.
