Lost & Found has a new release coming out that you should care about–it’s called Give a Fuck (GAF). While the name may turn heads, GAF is a cigar that’s being released with a purpose–it will help support inner-city education.
Lost & Found is a cigar company is owned by some familiar faces to many cigar enthusiasts–Robert Caldwell of Caldwell Cigars, Tony Bellatto of La Barba, and Jaclyn Sears. Recently, Lost & Found has created some initiative-base cigar lines. These include Plume, Malditos Bastardos and Instant Classic, which are all brands that have been slated for an early June release. These special releases are described as an ongoing projects with a percentage of Lost & Found’s profits from them going toward 501C-3 charitable organizations.
In the case of GAF, Lost & Found will be using part of the money earned from this release toward charitable organizations whose mission it is to improve the education of destitute children living in inner cities. GAF’s proceeds will benefit Inner City Impact, a charity based in Chicago, whose focus is on general education and development. The larger one is Inner City Arts in Lost Angeles, a group that uses art as a way of helping educate, develop, create hobbies and prepare youth for life. According to Caldwell, the exact amounts these charities is still being worked out but the target is 35 percent.
“We have a goal for the year of $50,000 for the charitable initiatives here. Some will be directly from cigar sales and some I will be matching personally,” Caldwell shared.
