Lost & Found Cigars– a company owned by Caldwell Cigar’s Robert Caldwell, La Barba’s Tony Bellatto and Jaclyn Sears–is teaming up with Protocol Cigars for a new addition to its Give a Fuck program. ONE is a new release with 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the product going to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, a non-profit that honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on Sept. 11, 2001.
ONE is a cigar made as a 5 x 50 Robusto. It will feature a Dominican Habano wrapper, Dominican binder and Dominican filler tobaccos. MSRP per cigar is set at $11 and available in 600 bundles.
In a press release, Robert Caldwell commented: “In the continued wake of 9/11 and its impact on first responders and their families, we wanted to do something to benefit those who sacrificed and selflessly put their lives on the line to save New Yorkers during the 911 attacks. We worked closely with Protocol Cigars to find the right foundation and also to help carry the marketing message forward.”
Juan Cancel, co-owner of Protocol Cigars, added: “It is a pleasure and an honor to be involved with this project. Being a first responder during 9/11 and seeing firsthand how bad things were, it is great to be involved with this cigar. It’s a great feeling as a first responder to have people do these kinds of things. It’s nice to feel appreciated for putting our lives on the line and paying homage to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. We thankful to the Caldwell Cigars and Lost & Found for including us in this project!”
ONE will begin shipping to retailers in 10-14 days.
