JR Cigar continues celebrating its 50th anniversary with the release of a new vitola in the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua line.
JR Cigar worked closely with Rafael Nodal and famed Nicaraguan grower AJ Fernandez on this new Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua vitola. This Nicaraguan puro is described as being a “stunning smoke with deep, rich flavors and outstanding construction.” Nodal blended this cigar with tobaccos that were grown on Fernandez’s farms located throughout Nicaragua. This cigar features aged Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos and a Nicaraguan Sumatra wrapper. The JR 50th Anniversary edition of Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua is presented in a custom-made rounded Parejo torpedo vitola.
“The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua has been one of my absolute favorite blends I have developed with AJ Fernandez,” says Nodal. “The Quattro line has always been box-pressed, but I asked AJ to make a small number of round cigars that I could enjoy and share with close friends. The resulting cigar turned out to provide an exceptional new experience for an already exceptional blend. I could not think of a more special cigar to use for JR’s 50th Anniversary Quattro Nicaragua than the 2019 Cigar of the Year in this very rare format.”
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua JR 50th will be packaged in 10-count boxes with only 1,000 boxes being produced. Each cigar will have a suggested retail price of $10.50 with a box being sold for $105. Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua JR 50th will be available exclusively from JR Cigar beginning June 8, 2021.
