The fight against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and anti-tobacco groups is raging as strong as ever, and at the forefront of the battle is Cigar Rights of America (CRA). CRA is a public advocacy group that fights against those who wish to restrict and regulate your rights to enjoy premium cigars. We at Cigars & Leisure believe in what they are doing, so we’re helping to run a giveaway to benefit this organization.
Richard “Hutch” Hutchens, a scrimshaw artist who makes custom cigar cutters, has generously donated two ivory micarta cutters that read “We the People Fight the FDA,” and one could be yours! They are limited edition, signed by Hutch, and numbered 1 and 2 of the 250 that were made. They also come with a bison leather pouch.
Here’s what you must do to enter: Go to cigarrights.org and sign up for a membership or renew your current membership. That’s it! You’ll be automatically entered. But if you want to increase your chances of winning, make sure you select “Cigars & Leisure” in the “How Did You Hear About CRA?” dropdown menu.
Memberships cost $35 for a year. With a membership you get the pleasure of supporting the CRA’s fight, two limited-edition CRA cigars, a six-month subscription to Cigar Insider, invitations to CRA member-only events, a membership card, key tag, travel humidor tag, and member-only discounts at cigar shops around the country.
The sweepstakes run from June 1 to Aug. 31, 2018.
