Made at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo designed them always to be large and nothing but large. Nicaragua’s reputation is the result of the remarkable climate and soil of the three main tobacco growing areas in the country – Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa. Each region plays an integral role in the formation of Ernesto’s unique blends.
“The amount of tobacco and the quality of tobacco is what makes it so unique,” said cigarmaker Ernesto Perez-Carrillo.
Staying true to the family’s ideals of consistency, tradition, and passion for perfection, the INCH Nicaragua has a robust and peppery character with a prominent, almost caramel sweetness that balances the spice. Made with 100% pure Nicaraguan tobacco, the INCH Nicaragua is rolled for those who like all Nicaraguan cigars. The wrapper, filler and binder are all Nicaraguan.
“Most of the cigar world credits Ernesto Perez-Carrillo with bringing the big ring gauge cigars to the industry,” said Lissette Perez-Carrillo.
The INCH line hit the cigar market in 2012 and is one of the best-selling lines from E.P. Carrillo.
Inch Nicaragua is available in three sizes: The No. 60, at 5 7/8 inches long by 60 ring; No. 62, at 5 by 62; and No. 64, at 6 1/8 by 64. Suggested retail prices are set at $10.95, $9.95 and $12.50, respectively.
