For the 19th year, Camacho Cigars is ready to kick off the the summer season with this year’s release of Camacho Liberty. This is one of the most highly-anticipated releases for fans of Camacho who enjoy bold, full-bodied cigars.
Launched each year to celebrate and honor the birth and history of the United States, the Camacho Liberty series is defined by the strength and character captured in the blend of tobaccos from four different regions, all rolled into a Churchill format. The extended fermentation and aging reflect the sacrifice and devotion required to obtain and appreciate Liberty with the multi-regional tobaccos that come together in a bold smoke.
In a press release, Oettinger Davidoff AG’s chief marketing officer, Edward Simon, commented: “Creating a cigar inspired by the most prized of American ideals as a companion to our nation’s Anniversary demands the greatest of respect and attention. While the Camacho smoker is as varied as the tobaccos we’ve used from Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic, they are united in appreciation for our liberty and the sacrifices that make it possible. This complex and bold blend delivers evolving flavors yet consistent enjoyment. We are proud of this 19th installment of the Camacho Liberty Series and are honored to have the opportunity to create a blend that represents the Americana characteristics and ideals.”
Camacho Liberty 2021 starts off with spice and pepper courtesy of the Honduran filler tobaccos. These flavors are reinforced by a nutty cream that provides balance and depth to the smoking experience. The Camacho Liberty 2021 is presented as a 7 x 48 Churchill and has an Ecuadoran wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Honduras. Suggested retail price per cigar is $20 and only 2,500 boxes will be released worldwide beginning in June 2021.
