Alec Bradley Cigar Co.’s special and proprietary Diamond-shaped cigar vitola is unique and popular among cigar enthusiasts and soon it’ll be featured within one of the company’s top-rated cigar lines. The company announced that it would be releasing a limited edition Black Market Esteli Diamond cigar, measuring 6 1/4 x 54. Only 1,500, sixteen-count boxes will be produced and released worldwide throughout 2020.
Alec Bradley Cigar Co.’s Black Market Esteli Diamond serves as a follow-up to the critically acclaimed Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut, which first appeared on store shelves back in 2014. With its 2020 release, it will replace the Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut. Due to the unique shape, Alec Bradley built up the blend by adding an extra leaf of Ligero Habano from Nicaragua. This makes this particular version of Black Market Esteli a bit bolder than the regular version.
“The Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut has been a hit with premium cigar enthusiasts every year since it was introduced,” says Jonathan Lipson, Alec Bradley Cigar Co.’s director of sales and marketing. “The shape pays homage to (Alec Bradley Founder) Alan Rubin’s triangular cigar – Trilogy. For 2020, we wanted change things up a bit and try diamond pressing the superb Black Market EstelÍ blend. The Black Market EstelÍ Diamond is sure to please palates globally!”
Alec Bradley Cigar Co.’s Black Market Esteli Diamond is a medium to full-bodied cigar with a dark, natural wrapper from Nicaragua, a double binder combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves and fillers from Nicaragua. It will begin shipping in June 2020 in 16-count diamond-shaped boxes with each cigar retailing for $9.85. It is being produced at Plasencia Cigars Nicaragua.
