Aganorsa Leaf is gearing up for a busy summer with several new releases. The company has announced two exclusive sizes of its ultra-premium Aniversario Maduro. This year’s release of the Aniversario Maduro will use the same blend of 100 percent Aganorsa Leaf-grown tobaccos wrapped in its proprietary Shade Grown Corojo Maduro leaf. It will be made available in two new sizes: a 6 x 54 box-pressed Toro and a 5 3/8 x 48 box pressed Short Churchill.
Aganorsa Leaf is also updating the boxes and bands of the Aniversario Maduro to emphasize the Aganorsa Leaf logo while removing the Casa Fernandez name from the band’s design. Only 1,500 10-count boxes of the toro and 1,000 boxes of the short Churchill will be released.
“The Aniversario Maduro blend was a massive hit last year and there was great demand for this cigar to return to the market,” states Terence Reilly, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “We also updated the packaging to make it clear this is an Aganorsa blend when consumers see it in the humidor.”
Both vitolas will retail for $13.75 and will begin shipping to retailers in August.
Aganorsa Leaf will also be releasing a new size of its popular Supreme Leaf cigar. It will use the same blend of Aganorsa Leaf-grown Nicaraguan tobacco as before but will now be made available in a box-pressed 6 x 54 torpedo vitola.
“Demand for Supreme Leaf continues to grow,” states Reilly. “This latest vitola brings the blend back to the 54 ring gauge of last year’s toro but the tapered head channels the smoke to provide a little more intensity.”
The new torpedo-sized Supreme Leaf will come in 10-count boxes with each cigar selling for $10.90. Only 2,500 boxes of the Supreme Leaf torpedo will be released.
